For the company’s website and advertisements, it was necessary to take varying photographs of furniture and give them a consistent showcase. Photographs which were taken in various locations and lighting needed much digital image editing: isolating each piece of furniture from its background; adjusting levels and color correcting; often skewing the perspective or correcting for lens warping; and then placing in a digitally created room, and adding realistic shadows.
