Project Description

This IT specialty client requested an i.d. which would not only fit into his high-tech industry, but also set him apart from the crowded field. Using just a two-color palette, first the logo was crafted, using the negative space between the two blocks of different blue hues to create bold, clean letterforms of L and 4. The typeface for the supporting text was selected for its computerish appeal.

Inks used for business card, printed on heavyweight satin cardstock, add that something special that stands out. Although printing budget was modest, the use of metallic light blue ink for the lighter tone gave the card a slick look and added shine.  The back printing gave lots of room for information and a polished overall look.

Filling out the identity package with letterhead and business envelope, the i.d. was continued with bold color block and refined type.
