Project Description

This logo system was designed as the foundation of the identity system for the Professional Development Academy, a resource of the San Diego County Community College District, which was part of 8 different colleges. The Academy was established to provide training in a variety of disciplines, and the logo had to reflect that, and also be flexible to represent both parts of the program, and the program as a whole. The logo was designed as a modular system which could be used in many ways: as a strong stand-alone logo; illustrating the training modules which make up the program; and each module could be utilized singly, and/or in conjunction with the main logo. This was no small task, as the intended used were many. However, the end logo system provided a strong, clean, unified, and ultimately useful identity.
